Archiving Policy

Archiving Policy: Long-term Digital Preservation

The EPH - International Journal of Humanities and Social Science (IJHSS) is committed to ensuring the long-term preservation, integrity, and accessibility of all published scholarly content in accordance with internationally recognized publishing standards.

To support this commitment, the journal utilizes the Public Knowledge Project (PKP) Preservation Network (PKP PN), a trusted digital preservation service for journals operating on the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform. Through PKP PN, all published articles and associated metadata are securely archived to guarantee permanent and reliable access.

The PKP Preservation Network stores journal content across multiple independent and geographically distributed preservation nodes. This decentralized system protects the scholarly record against data loss, technical failures, cyber risks, website downtime, or potential journal discontinuation, ensuring uninterrupted long-term access.
